Maintenance

The Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office Maintenance Division is a crew of three men who are under the leadership of Maintenance Director Robert “Pete” Cochran. The Maintenance Division is responsible for a wide range of tasks including making sure the fleet of vehicles are always operating properly. The division maintains the facilities which includes the administrative offices, Emergency Operations Center, Dispatch, jail, annex building and training center/range facility. This includes locks, plumbing and electrical.

Other services provided by the division include welding, carpentry, painting, air conditioning and lighting. The maintenance division prides itself on being able to create answers to questions to save the agency money by performing many tasks “in house” rather than spending much more money on a vendor.
