The field day portion of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) Online Hunter Education Course will be held Saturday, TO BE ANNOUNCED from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office Firing Range and Training Center. Students should go online and visit www.myfwc.com to complete the course and take the test. Participants can complete registration for the field day to complete the practical section of the program. Students must complete the Internet portion of the course before reporting to the range. They must bring their final report from the Internet portion of the program.
The hunter safety course is required for individuals born on or after June 1, 1975 to purchase a Florida hunting license. The FWC course satisfies hunter-safety training requirements for all states and Canadian provinces.
