Uniform Patrol

Uniform Patrol is the most visible unit of the Sheriff’s Office. Captain Anthony Curles, 850-745-7268, is assigned over Road Patrol and Lieutenants are assigned to shifts and available 24 hours a day/7 days a week.  Each shift works around the clock answering calls for service, business and home security checks and patrol to Keep Wakulla Safe. Uniform Patrol maintains social order through enforcement of laws, timely response to calls for service, preliminary investigation of criminal offenses, apprehension of offenders, and prevention efforts through interaction with citizens. The Reserve Deputy Program and Sheriff’s Service Officer Program are both supervised under Uniform Patrol.
