Image A 33-year-old Crawfordville man was arrested one day after his 33rd birthday and charged with 30 counts of possession of child pornography after the Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office, the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) served a search warrant at his home at 6 a.m. Friday, March 12.

Corey David White was arrested without incident at the home after law enforcement officials discovered 500 images and/or video that were identified as child pornography. Law enforcement officials discovered a business computer and personal computer with “disturbing images and videos,” according to investigators.

“At the time of his arrest, White cooperated and admitted to having child pornography,” said Major Maurice Langston. “There was a large amount of incriminating evidence at the scene.”

Investigative work by Det. Erica Fore began in February and led law enforcement officials to secure a search warrant for the home through Wakulla County Judge Jill Walker. Evidence was collected at the scene.

There were two juveniles and the suspect’s wife at the home at the time the search warrant was served. There was no resistance from White and no use of force was necessary.

White was booked into the Wakulla County Jail where he is awaiting his first appearance. In addition to Det. Fore, Det. Lindsay Allen, Det. Rob Giddens, Det. Sean Wheeler, Sgt. Eddie Wester, Det. Rick Buckley, Det. Melissa Harris and CSI Tech Allison Blockstock were part of the search warrant team.
