Wakulla County Sheriff David Harvey attended part of the final day of the Hunter Safety and Outdoor Skills summer camp program Friday, July 30 to present the youths with T-shirts, certificates and hunter education cards when the youths completed their tests. The sheriff shared stories about how important it is to think safety while hunting and holding a gun. He also quizzed the students about what they had learned during the week. “I am delighted and honored to have you here,” he said from the Sheriff’s Office Training Center and Firing Range in Otter Creek.
