Lane Closures Continue on US 98 near theWakulla River Bridge

Chipley – Temporarylane closures will continue on US 98 westboundbetween Manatee Way and Anhinga Point driveway in Wakulla County.  Weather permitting; motorists can expect lane closures daily for the next twoweeks, Monday, February 1, through, Friday, February 5 and Monday,February 8 to Friday, February 12.  Laneclosures will begin at 7 a.m. and end around 5 p.m. and will allow thecontractor an opportunity to continue work on the new roadway.  The workis part of a $ 4.3 million construction contract to build a new bridge over theriver.

Motoristsare reminded to use caution and obey traffic flaggers while traveling throughwork zone.
