WCSO Investigates Homicide and Makes Arrest

The Wakulla County Sheriff's Office is releasing the name of the suspect arrested Saturday night Jan 25th in connection with the homicide that occurred off of King Bee Drive in Crawfordville.

The suspects name is Chad Westerlund (white male 35 years old) and he is being charged with 1 count of First Degree Homicide and 1 count of Child Neglect. He has had first appearance and is currently being held with no bond in the Wakulla County Jail. His mugshot is pictured below.

Due to a Marsy's Law request the Wakulla County Sheriff's Office will not be releasing any information regarding the victim in this case at this time.
