Sheriff Miller Attends Ceremony for Fallen Correctional Officers

Tuesday May 11, Sheriff Miller attended a memorial and wreath laying ceremony to honor the men and women of the Florida Department of Corrections who died in the line of duty, including those who died this past year.

The ceremony was held at the Wakulla Correctional Institution and included the families of the fallen and representatives from around the state, who came to pay respects.

Thank you to the men and women who serve our communities as corrections officers. To the families of the fallen members their names will not soon be forgotten.
