|Reserve Captain Terry Meek recognized by NSA|
The Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office nominated Reserve Captain Terry Meek for National Reserve Deputy of the Year through the National Sheriffs’ Association.
Reserve Officer Bill Coyle of the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office was selected as the recipient of the prestigious award.
The National Sheriffs” Association was so impressed by the work of Captain Meek that they awarded him a special Certificate of Merit.
“We feel that his valuable contributions to his community and to the field of criminal justice and law enforcement should be commended,” said Sheriff (Ret.) Aaron D. Kennard, Executive Director of the NSA in Alexandria, VA.
“Captain Meek and his group of WCSO Reserve Deputies serve Wakulla County without compensation and put in countless hours due to their love of the community,” said Wakulla County Sheriff Charlie Creel.
