Wakulla County Free Riders Toys for Tots Run
Deputy Crum and Sergeant Helms assisted the W.C.F.R. with their annual Tots for Tots Run, beginning in Woodville and finishing at Outzs II in Newport. Approximately 150 motorcyclists took part in the run collecting many toys for the children of Wakulla County.

The Special Ops Unit assisted with the Voyage of Tears which was held in St. Marks. Several meetings were held prior to this event and no problems were encountered. Sheriff Creel and Undersheriff Morrison were on hand to represent the Sheriff’s Office.

Deputy Crum went to the Leon County Sheriff’s Office for training in bicycle helmet fitting.

Deputy Crum and Sergeant Helms planned and assisted with traffic control at the Reindeer 5K Run which was held at the Wakulla Senior Citizen’s Center. The run was designed to support the Meals on Wheels program.
Deputy Crum and Sergeant Helms planned and assisted with traffic and road blocks at the Panacea Christmas Parade on U.S. Highway 98. The parade was a success with no complaints noted.
Deputy Cum and Sergeant Helms have placed “high priority” on Lonnie Raker Lane and Rehwinkel Road due to the recent death of a motorist on Lonnie Raker Lane and the high number of complaints on Rehwinkel Road. These two areas are being worked daily.
