|WCSO offers law enforcement a Basic SWAT School|
WCSO BASIC SWAT SCHOOL FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT
DATE: Monday, Nov. 18 to Friday, Nov. 22 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily at the WCSO Range. Hours are subject to change due to night exercises.
COST: $325 per person or pay for two and get one free.
EQUIPMENT: 600 rounds of long gun ammunition; 1,000 rounds of hand gun ammunition; two flash bangs per student (can be trainers); Kevlar; entry vest; gloves; boots; firearms; magazines; appropriate clothing; breach equipment (Ram and Haligan Tool); shields; and hydration pack or plenty of water for long training days.
COURSE: An intense week of BASIC SWAT to include weapons manipulations, transition of weapons, entry work, building searches; shield work, team work in a stack and flash bang certification. Firearms qualifications will be held during the day and night and night training of building searches will be included.
