WCSO PSO Unit works 185.5 hours in June

The Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office Public Service Officer (PSO) Program worked 185.5 hours in June with a savings to taxpayers of $2,782 in monetary savings based on a $15 per hour rate.

In June, Captain Jimmy Keen worked 33.5 hours worth of administrative work. Sgt. Ray Hubbird worked 56 hours and Sgt. Rusty Miller worked 44 hours.
PSO Tom Clore worked 29 hours while PSO Wes Coleman put in 15 hours and PSO Sabrina Roberts added eight hours. PSO Nancy Watts and PSO Mitch Hampton did not record any hours in June.

The PSOs combined for 61 security checks; six citizen contacts; five special details; one vehicle crash; and one event listed as “other.” The PSO Unit recorded 11 hours working funeral escorts and 20 hours working the demands of Tropical Storm Debby.
