The Wakulla County Division of Emergency Management in Coordination with the Wakulla County Administration is canceling the Mandatory Evacuation order for the City of St. Marks. The National Weather Service is still forecasting the possibility of flooding in St. Marks. The system will be monitored and a future evacuation may be warranted. If the river begins to rise to an unsafe level, you will be asked to evacuate immediately. Please continue to take steps to protect your property and be prepared for an immediate evacuation. The Mandatory evacuation remains in effect for the upper St. Marks area above the Newport River Bridge on U.S. 98.
