Sheriff Jared Miller Announces Community Watch Program
On Tuesday July 11th, 2017 at 6:30 PM Sheriff Jared Miller and the Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office will be hosting an event at the Wakulla County Community Center located at 318 Shadeville Road. Sheriff Miller and his staff will be on site to discuss the Citizen’s Volunteer Program and present the newly developed Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office Community Watch Program. We will also start the 2nd Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office Citizen’s Academy at this time.
The Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office newly developed Community Watch Program will incorporate methods that have been proven successful and utilize new and current technologies such as social media which will allow communities and public service entities to share public information. Sheriff Miller and his staff will detail the implementation of the Community Watch Program with the goal of establishing a community that is capitalized on ensuring the overall well-being of the community as the common goal.
Sheriff Miller has invited all Wakulla County residents to this event. Sheriff Miller and his staff will be available for information requests after the presentation is complete. Sheriff Jared Miller and the Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office are excited to present this vision for the newly developed Community Watch Program and look forward to meeting with the public at this event.
